"Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations as an inheritance"
NorthShore Assembly of God in Skokie has always had a heart for the nations. Being a church where over 20 cultures are represented, it's part of the churches DNA. When Pastor Sangram Kodavatikanti started pastoring in January of 2017, he brought vision specifically for India. That fall he was approached by a small group of Telugu speaking Indian Christians who were struggling to afford a meeting space, while also seeking for more knowledge and understanding of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. In October of 2017, this group officially became the NorthShore Telugu Church, a PAC of NorthShore Assembly. Pastor Sangram oversees this church along with Pastor Chandran Mallela who is enjoying his time as a student in the Illinois School of Ministry (ISOM). The leadership and members of Northshore continued to pray for more opportunities to use the resources they have to help other groups. In January of this year, Pastor Sangram met a Farsi speaking bible study group who were outgrowing the homes they had been meeting in. After much prayer and consultation, the Northshore Iranian Church PAC celebrated their first service in April of 2019. Pastor Sangram leads this church with the help of Mrs. Hermic Masihkhah. They are currently learning the Core Values of the Assemblies of God. Pastor Sangram and Northshore are excited for God's continued Kingdom expansion!
